慈恩、十手は大学空手部で覚えた。空手史や型の伝承をいろいろ調べていたら、琉球王国時代、慈恩、十手、ジインは元々3つセットで稽古していた型との伝承を見つけた。そうするとジインと言う型を知りたくなる。
幸い、ジインは比較的すぐに動画を見つけることができた。「空手道－専門家に贈る」にも掲載されているが、改変されている可能性があり、松濤館の動画をベースとして覚えた。

十手・慈恩と同様、上段での攻防や投げ技を教えているように思われる。中段外受けと下段払いは両型と左右逆の使い方である。さらに振り返りながらの鉄槌等、興味深い。但し、珍手同様、あまり積極的には伝承されていないようである。各動作に特殊なものはない。だからだろうか。
琉球王国時代の唐手の文化が失われていくのであれば残念なことである。

Jion, Jitte learned from the college karate club. While investigating various karate history and kata(pattern) traditions, during the Ryukyu Kingdom era, Jion, Jitte, and Jiin found a tradition with a kata that was originally practiced in sets of three. Then I wanted to know the kata called Ji-in.
Fortunately, Jiin was able to find the video relatively quickly. It was also posted in "Karate-do Senmonkani-okuru(Give to Experts)", but it may have been modified, so I learned it based on the video of Shotokan.

It seems to teach offense and defense in the upper row and throwing techniques as well as Jitte and Jion. The lower-receive and middle outer receive are used in the opposite way to the left and right. Furthermore, it is interesting to look at a hammer while looking back. However, like Chinte, it seems that they have not been handed down very actively. There is nothing special about each action. Is that so?
It would be a shame if the culture of Karate during the Ryukyu Kingdom era would be lost.
