以前（数年前）読んだ解説で、中国拳法の棒を使う武術は棍術、日本の武術は棒術と言うそうである。
中国拳法には、二節棍（ヌンチャク）や三節棍もある。当時は「そうなんだ」、と素直に思っていた。
ただ、日本の棒術で紹介されている型の名前は、周氏、末吉、松風、佐久川、白樽、全て“・・・の棍”である。日本でも“棍術”と言っても正しいように思われる。
先の説は誰かの思い込みによるガセだろうか。有識者の意見を伺いたいものである。つまらんことだけど･･･。

According to the commentary I read before (several years ago), the martial arts using the Chinese kempo sticks are called Kon-Jutsu, and the martial arts in Japan are called Bo-Jutsu.
In Chinese Kempo, there are also Kon divided in two (nunchaku) and divided in three. At that time, I was honestly thinking, "That's right."
However, the names of the katas introduced in Japanese Bo-Jutsu are Shu-shi no Kon, Sueyoshi no Kon, Matsukaze no Kon, Sakugawa no Kon, Shirataru no Kon, all... It seems to be correct both in Japan and in "Kon-Jutsu".
Is the above theory a fake of someone's belief? I would like to hear the opinions of experts. Though I think it's a boring thing.
