富名腰義珍先生の抜塞で、正面に向かっての左下段外受けの後の最後の手刀受けは、
- 右斜め前に右手刀受け
- 目線は左斜め前で、手足を右斜め後ろに向き直し
- 左斜め前に左手刀受け
と大学空手部で先輩から教わった。諸先輩方は皆さんそのように演武されており、そこは特に気にしていなかった。
動画を見ていると同動作は、
- 正面に右手刀受け
- 目線は左斜め前で、手足を右横に向き直し
- 左斜め前に左手刀受け
と言うのが一般的である。というか、これ以外見たことがない。「琉球拳法唐手」でもそのように書かれている。 
筆者の頭の中では、「空手道－専門家に送る」の型はかなり改変されているので、前者は同書によるものだろうと思い込んでいた。ところが、先日気が向いて同書を見返したところ、後者で書かれていた。さらに船越先生の空手道教範が前者になっているのかと思い読み返したところ、演武写真が船越先生自身の教範、若い頃の江上先生の教範ともに後者となっていた。どういうことか。
結果からするとどうも、前者は筆者の大学空手部で改変されたものが伝わっているようである。学生時代、後者で練習していたら誰かに「前者が“正”」と言われたような気がする（はっきり覚えていない）。誰がどう解釈してそのようになったのかは伝わっていない。
同動作は残心だと思っているのでどちらでも良いとは思うが、現在の筆者は教範通り、後者で練習するようにしている。教範に書かれているものを勝手に改変しておいてその根拠を伝承しないというのは如何なものかと思ってしまう。
ふと、まさかとは思いつつ、宮本先生の動画を確認したところ、前者となっていた。

江上茂著／宮本知次監修の空手道型教本ではその部分の表現は微妙である。写真は後者に見えるが、解説では正面に右手刀受けの後、目線を左斜め前、手足はその反対にとなっていた。従って、当該部の改変は宮本先生以降だと思われる。何を根拠に何故変えたのか、もし機会があれば一度、宮本先生に伺ってみたいものである（多分、その機会はないけど･･･）。

It is common to see. Or rather, I've never seen anything else. It is also written in "Ryukyu Kempo Karate".

In my mind, the kata of "Karatedo - send to experts" has been considerably modified, so I assumed that the former was due to that book. However, when I turned around the book the other day, it was written in the latter. Furthermore, when I looked back that the Karatedo Kyohan of Professor Funakoshi, the performance photograph was the latter for both Professor Funakoshi's own instruction and Professor Egami's instruction. Why？
From the results, it seems that the former was modified by the author's university karate club. When I was a student, when I was practicing with the latter, I feel like someone said "the former is correct" (I don't remember clearly). It is not known who interpreted it and why it happened.
I think that the movement is zanshin, so I think it doesn't matter which one. But the current author has practiced the latter. I wonder what it is like to modify what is written in the kyohan and not pass on the grounds.
Suddenly, I checked the video of Professor Miyamoto. It was the former.

In the Karatedo-kata textbook written by Shigeru Egami and supervised by Tomoji Miyamoto, the expression of that part is subtle. The photo looks like the latter, but in the commentary, after receiving the right hand sword in front, the line of sight was diagonally forward to the left, and the limbs were the opposite. Therefore, it seems that the modification of this department was made after Professor Miyamoto. If I have a chance, I would like to ask Professor Miyamoto once about what was the reason for the change (probably I cannot ...).
