先日、玄制流 祝嶺先生の師匠の佐渡山安恒氏と船越先生の師匠の安里安恒氏が新城親方安基を祖とする遠い親戚だと書いた。新城親方の名乗頭は「安」であり、子孫の名前には皆、「安」の字が付いている。それで糸洲安恒氏ももしかして、と思って調べてみた。
糸洲家は馮氏 諸見里親方安春を祖とする家系（分家）ということであり（Wikipediaによる）、新城親方の毛氏とは血統が異なるようである。
琉球王国もそこまで狭い世界ではなかったようで。
