十手は大学空手部で覚えた。棒の型といわれており、一時期棒を持って練習したこともあるがあまりピンとこない。
十手受け動作は相手の上段攻撃を受けるとともに、背後からの上段攻撃を受ける動作との解釈を聞いたことがある。･･･そんな馬鹿な、と思ってしまう。あの動作で前後からの攻撃手を受けることは不可能と思われる。
今野敏さんのDVDで、五十四歩の解説のなかで、中国拳法では片手の動作を型としては両手で表現することがあると言う。それを十手に当て嵌めると背後からの攻撃を考える必要は無く、まだ理解できる。
youtubeを見ていたら、海外の方で使えそうな解釈があったので紹介まで。

名前からすると仏系か、この人の分解動画はいくつも見ているが面白い。松濤館系のようであるが、国内でこういった組手の練習をするところはないだろう。

I learned Jitte in the university karate club. It is said to be a kata of Bo Jutsu, and I have practiced holding a Bo for a while, but it does not come out very well.
I have heard that the Jitte's action is an action that is attacked by the opponent's upper stage and is also an upper stage attack from behind. I think it's silly. It seems impossible to receive attackers from the front and back with that action.
According to Bin Konno's DVD, in the commentary of the Gojushiho, it is said that in Chinese Kempo, the movement of one hand may be expressed as a kata with both hands. If I apply it to Jitte, I don't have to think about the attack from behind and I can still understand.
When I was watching youtube from overseas, there were some interpretation that I think it may useful, so I introduced it.
