Traditional Kata-Interpretation of Gojushiho

Previously, in the interpretation of Wankan, I introduced that Wankan of Shotokan has an interpretation video from overseas. The movement of holding the middle with both hands first and moving diagonally forward to the left and diagonally to the right is the same as the movement that appears at the beginning of Gojushiho, which is helpful.

Also, in the Gojushiho, there are movements of putting hand on, continuous thrusts, and front kicks, but this is a movement that appears relatively often in other katas such as Ji-in and Wandau, and it is not difficult to interpret.

What I don't understand is the action of swinging my legs back. Mr. Bin Konno explained that it was a remnant of Drunken Master, but Mr. Konno himself raised his hind legs to a position close to horizontal in the rear, and it seems to be a check to the rear / It does not look like a remnant of Drunken Master. In other videos, he has his head lowered forward near the floor and his hind legs raised close to directly above.

The other day, while practicing alone, I suddenly came up with the idea of a drunken staggered foot. I'm very strong against alcohol, so I don't know how it feels, but I've seen a lot of people around me who are staggered. If I try to imagine that, something seems to go well.
