以前、大学空手部で稽古した抜塞は最後の手刀受けの方向が改変されており、大学空手部で変えられたものが伝承されているのではないかと書いたが、どうも違うようなので、訂正。
ふと、四方公相君とジインが紹介されていなかったかなと思い、松濤館の古い紹介動画を流して見ていたところ、目当ての動画は無かったが、抜塞大のところで先日書いた上記のことを思い出した。

ここでは最後の手刀受けは右斜め前→右斜め後ろ→左斜め前になっている（18‘30“頃～）。つまりこの部分は大学空手部で改変されたものではなく、当時、ご本尊で変えられたもののようである。この動画の記録時期が判らないが、白黒で画質も粗く、恐らく昭和40年代前半くらいと思われる（筆者の記憶では、昭和40年代末頃にはカラーの8mmビデオカメラが一般に普及し始め、歯科医の親戚が所有していた）。
改めて空手道教範を読み返して見た。昭和16年発行のもの（何年か前に復刻版が発売されたもの）、昭和39年発行のもの（型の演武写真が江上茂先生のもの）ともに、同箇所の手刀受けは正面→右→左斜め前である。従って、当該部分は昭和39年の空手道教範発行後、数年の間に改変されたようである。
大学空手部及び宮本先生にはご無礼しました。誰が何を根拠に変えたのか、誰かご存知だろうか･･。

Here, the last hand sword is diagonally right front → diagonally right back → diagonally left front (around 18'30 “~). In other words, this part was not modified by the university karate club, and at that time, the principal image I don't know when this video was recorded, but it's black and white and the image quality is rough, probably in the early 1965s (in my memory, 8mm in color by the end of the 1965s). Video cameras became popular and were owned by relatives of dentists).
I read the karate-do kyohan again and saw it. Both the one issued in 1945 (the reprint was released several years ago) and the one issued in 1964 (the photo of the kata of performance is by Master Shigeru Egami), the hand sword at the same place is from the front → right → It is diagonally forward to the left. Therefore, it seems that this part was modified within a few years after the publication of the Karate-do kyohan in 1964.
I'm so sorry to the university karate club and Master Miyamoto. Does anyone know who changed why ?
