抜塞は大学空手部のものと、玄制流の抜塞小と大を練習している。大学空手部の抜塞はもちろん、船越義珍先生の抜塞である。この型については知っている人も多いだろう。
玄制流の抜塞大は動画で確認したところ、武村の抜塞と呼ばれているもののようである。武村―岸本―祝嶺と伝えられたものであろう。当初、祝嶺先生の創作型かと思ったほど、他の抜塞との共通性が少ない。武士 武村の創作だろうか。

一方、玄制流の抜塞小はS.I.先生から直接教えて頂いたものであるが、型の構成が松林流の抜塞にとてもよく似ている。松林流では、最初の方で手刀から、恐らく抜き手をやっているところがあるが、玄制流ではそれが手刀から掌底による突き上げ（相手の顎を狙うと教わった）になっている。ただこれは、解釈次第でどうにでもなるので大した相違ではないだろう。

（松林流のパッサイ）
この抜塞小の伝系はどうなっているのだろう。祝嶺先生は誰に教えてもらったのだろう。玄制流の伝系を考えると、武村の抜塞が先の伝系であれば、抜塞小は佐渡山安恒氏によるものだろうか。ただ、佐渡山安恒氏から何を伝承されたのかは見たことが無い。松林流は松村宗昆と松茂良耕作の影響を受けた流派ということである。松茂良耕作は泊手の人である。武士 武村は廃藩置県の後、泊地方に隠棲されていたそうであるがその関係で泊手の抜塞を取得・伝承されたのだろうか。泊地方に居られた有名な唐手家に「岸本」という人が居たらしい。それは岸本祖孝先生の親族か、あるいは本人だろうか。
なお、本部流のブログを見ていて「へぇ～」と思ったのだけれど、船越の抜塞の最初の方の受け替え動作は、元々手刀と抜き手の動作だったものを糸洲安恒氏が改変したのではないか、ということであった。それを見て一時期、船越義珍の抜塞を練習するときには、受け替え動作を手刀・抜き手に変えた動作も練習した。

I have practiced Bassai of the university karate club, and Bassai small and large of Genseiryu. Bassai of the university karate club was by Gichin Funakoshi. I think many people know this kata.
After confirming the video of the Genseiryu Bassai Large, it seems that it is called Takemura's Bassai. It was probably handed down Takemura - Kishimoto - Shukumine. At first, I thought that it was a creative kata of Mr. Shukumine, because it has little commonality with other faction's Bassai. I wonder that it is a creation of Samurai Takemura?

On the other hand, the Genseiryu Bassai Small was taught directly by Professor S.I., but the kata's composition is very similar to the Matsubayashi-ryu Bassai. In the Matsubayashi-ryu, there is a place where a hand sword is probably used at the beginning, but in the Genseiryu, it is pushed up from the hand sword by the palm of the hand (I was taught to aim at the opponent's chin). However, this is not a big difference as it depends on the interpretation.

（Matsubayashiryu Passai）
I wonder how Bassai Small was handed down. I wonder who taught to Mr. Shukumine. Considering the Genseiryu transmission system, if Takemura's Bassai was the previous transmission, Bassai Small may be due to Mr. Anko Sadoyama. However, I have never seen what was handed down by Mr. Anko Sadoyama. The Matsubayashi faction is influenced by Mr. Sokon Matsumura and Mr. Kosaku Matsumora. Mr. Kosaku Matsumora is a samurai of Tomarite. Samurai Takemura seems to have been hiding in the Tomari district after it was abolished the clan and set up a prefecture, but I wonder if he got Bassai Small and handed down it because of this. It seems that there was a person called "Kishimoto" at the famous Karate family in the Tomari area. Is he Kishimoto Soko's relatives or himself?
In addition, I was looking at the Motoburyu's blog and thought that it was "Wow", but Mr. Anko Itosu changed the operation of the first part of the Bassai of Mr. Funakoshi that was originally a hand sword and a thrust of fingertips. For a while, when practicing Bassai of Mr. Gichin Funakoshi, I also practiced the operation of changing the receiving action to a sword / fingertips.
