かなり古い本であるが、空手道大鑑2という国立国会図書館のデジタルブックを地元の図書館で閲覧／コピーさせて頂いた。戦後しばらくして出版された棒の教範のようである。また、いろいろなところで引用される“拳法概説”を購入したところ、そこにも棒の型が掲載されており、その型は正しいと本部流のブログで紹介されていた。
ただ、著者にはどちらも判り難い。掲載されている型は何れも一度覚えた型なので読めば判るが、やはり独学者には写真（または動画）をふんだんに使った教本が望ましい。
棒の型の教本は滅多に見かけないが、掲載されている型は大概、周氏、佐久川、白樽の3つである。この3つが空手のナイハンチ、バッサイ、公相君に該当する型なのかも知れない。
筆者が覚えた型は、それぞれの文献でざっくり、大きな違いは無いな、と確認している。
なお、棒の型には他にも多くあるようである。昔、砂掛けという、棒で砂を掬って相手に掛ける動作が多い型を見たように思うが、先日動画を調べてみたところ見つからなかった。

Although it is a very old book, I read/copied a digital book from the National Diet Library called Karatedo Taikan 2 at a local library. It seems to be a textbook of Bo-Jutsu published some time after the war. Also, when I bought the "Kempo
Gaisetsu(Overview of Kempo）" quoted in various places, the kata of Bo-Jutsu is also posted there, and it was introduced on the Motobu-ryu's blog that the katas are correct.
However, neither is easy for the author to understand. All of the katas listed are the ones I remembered once, so I can understand if I read them, but it is still desirable for self-educators to use textbooks with plenty of photos (or videos).
Although I rarely see Bo-Jutsu's kata textbooks, the katas that are posted are mostly Shu-shi, Sakugawa, and Shirataru. I wonder these three may be the katas corresponding to Naihanchi, Bassai, and Kushanku of karate.
The katas that authors learned confirmed that there was no big difference in each document.
There are many other Bo-Jutsu's katas. I used to think that I saw a kata called Sunakake(sand hanging）, which often involves picking sand with a Bo(stick) and hanging it on the opponent, but when I checked the video the other day, I couldn't find it.
