When I was watching the youtube, there was an interpretation that the first stance of Tekki Shodan was the action that is removing hands when both hands were caught by the opponent. It is a rational interpretation based on the movement to remove the captured hand, which was taught in the Genseiryu.
If you do not remove the opponent's hand completely, but spread your hand in a twisted state (if you do "Haite"), you will restrict the movement of the opponent, and you will be able to reach your elbow to the opponent. It is possible to interpret anything.
It can be interpreted as much as you want ...
