確か”はみ唐さんのブログ”だったと思うけど「隠されていた空手」の紹介があり、ナイハンチの解釈も載っているようだったのでカミサンに頼み込んで試しに通販で購入した。古書だったようでとてもタバコ臭いのを我慢しながら見たが、目からウロコの解釈でとても驚いた。
富名腰義珍著 琉球拳法唐手に掲載されている写真、「ナイハンチの変手」の意味が判らなかったが、その解釈が載っていた。とても納得しやすい解釈であり、富名腰義珍翁が伝えたかった空手はこれなのだろうと思った。
同書には他の型の解釈も載っており、とても参考になった。このおかげで、ナイハンチに限らず、型の解釈の幅がとても広がった。

I'm sure it was a blog by Hami-Kara san, but there was an introduction of "The Kakusareteita Karate", and it seemed that the interpretation of Naihanchi was also included, so I asked my wife to buy it online. It looked like it was an old book, and I watched it while smelling like a cigarette, but I was very surprised at the kata's interpretation.
Gichin Funakoshi: The picture in Ryukyu Kempo Karate, "Naihanchi's strange hand", was not understood, but its interpretation was included. It is a very convincing interpretation, and I thought that this was the karate that Mr.Gichin Funakoshi had wanted to convey.
The book also contains interpretations of other katas, which was very helpful. Thanks to this, not only Naihanchi, but the range of kata interpretation has expanded greatly.
